My best part is my hands because my hands help me do my work and do my chores. My hands are my saviour!! They help me in everything I do. My hands help me cook food and catch rugby balls.
Imagine if I didn’t have hands, what would I do? I wouldn’t be able to drink water or play rugby. Then my throat would be so dry and I would not be able to tackle people.
In the Holiday season I had a lovely time spending with my family.
First I was doing chores and it was fun.
After me and my mom’s cousin went for a walk First we went up Line Rd then took a left to West Tamaki Rd then we continued
to walk straight after we turned left
onto St Johns.
The sun was burning my skin and my skin looked like clay.
Secondly I turned left into college.
After that we took another Merton Rd
Then walked straight then passed the Countdown.
When we were under the train finally we felt the cold breeze on our skin.
Lastly when we got back home I rushed to the shower and took the coldest shower.
I wish I went for the walk again but in shadier weather.
On Thursday morning we had a normal first block.
Then we gathered in the hall with the other schools.
The schools were Glenbrae, Best start Apirana, Pt England, Glendowie school and Team Koru.
First the Kapa Haka group from GTS performed really good and all the other schools did really well.
After that me and my friends went to the food truck the line was very long.
I ordered chips and L and P.
Next I walked to Oscar then sat down with him.
After I asked Oscar how is your day he said it’s been going good.
Later I went to go play ki-o-rahi with my friends. It was fun and hot. Soon I went to the food truck and bought drinks for me and my mum.
I had an awesome day because we saw other schools perform
In Room 1, we are going to be using our Maths Matrices at the start of every maths session.
We used them today to find out the most common strategies our class uses for Number talk.
My goal for this week is too ( start focusing on my fractions and that will be my goal for this week)
